Our sixth graders have really taken off in our Percy Jackson books! Displayed to the right is some of their work from Chapter 2.
* The graphic needed to include a picture in the middle which was a symbol for the chapter.
*Three colors with an explanation as to what they represent.
*Four quotes with a brief explanation as to why they thought they were significant.
*Title of the chapter (or rename the chapter) at the top.
Plot an imaginary location for the Yancy Academy. Draw a map showing the highway Grover and Percy took along the Hudson Valley to get to New York City., indicate where the fruit stand might be.
Some of the students worked on these individually while others worked with partners or small groups. I can't get over not only how well they work together, but how creative they are, too! Check back in on Monday for more additions! We are just getting started!
