I have an article on data and maps that I read this morning. I was simply amazed by this article. One of the things we are learning a lot this year as IB students in my classroom is "globalization". This article describes the globalization of data through maps. Read the article and answer the questions I have below.
What percentage of the data we currently have was collected over the last two years?
How is data being collected?
What are the pros and cons of the amount of data that has been collected?
How can you or your family use the data collected as an advantage in your lives?
What do you think this quote means? "Data is the new oil and water...."
