Stephanie Cutter, another CNN contributor who was Obama's 2012 deputy campaign manager, said Congress's not passing the resolution would be "a blow to the United States. Not a blow to the president, it's a blow to the United States' authority all over the world. And unprecedented."
"That's why you're going to see some members of Congress vote for that particular reason. Some said they're voting for that particular reason," she said.
What do you think of her assertion that this will effect the United States' "authority" around the world? What type of "authority" do you think we should have? What does she mean when she says it will be "unprecedented"? How do you think Congress will vote? Why do you think they will vote this way? Remember there are no wrong answers!
