Our day will start with a tour of NS Savannah. This is one of four nuclear ship buit by the United States. On board we will aslo be hearing from Stu Tobin, co-owner of Thunderbolt Global Logistics, LLC. Amongst other things, Mr. Tobin will talk about Baltimore's role in the world's economy. This is a very important aspect of our sixth grade curriculum as we learn about how we effect people around the world and vice versa.
After lunch we will be getting on board the The Pride of Baltimore II. This will be a fascinating educational program as we get to learn more about history of maritime trade here in Baltimore. Make sure to click on the links provided. What do you think? Which part of the trip are you most excited about? What do you think you learn and how will it possibly help you in your own "Create a Country" Project or what we will be learning about the rest of the year?
This page is dedicated to the work and research my students do each day.
